Students choosing to apply for the International Human Services Program experience will volunteer in social service organizations, lectures and site visits to non-profit organizations.   In addition to earning 4SH in Human Services will be able to take 4SH in International Affairs and fulfill the Diversity CORE.

Students will have the opportunity to choose organizations that are most inline with their interests. Volunteer experiences are available in a variety of settings including orphanages, ESL programs for women prisoners, street youth programs and programs for disabled children. 

Students will be placed in small groups to stay with local host families. Knowledge of Spanish, while helpful is not necessary.
