Associate Professor of Music
David
Sonnenschein is Associate Professor of Music at Northeastern University.
His forty year career as conductor, educator, and composer, is based
on experiences gathered in three continents. More recently, he immersed
his creativity in the development of multimedia programs for teaching
music cognition to the non-major in music. He is the author of The
Anatomy of Music.
His
work on the creation of the computer mediated, Internet facilitated
introduction to music course "Music:
A Listening Experience" has won him an international award
for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning & Technology.
